Reiki - Treatment and Classes The word Reiki means "universal life force energy," and is all around us all of the time. Science has proven that when matter is broken down until it cannot be divided further, it is composed of energy. It is this energy that surrounds us, fuels us, and creates the matter that comprises our bodies. However, even that energy must have an origin, a beginning, and that is divine energy, or the "Word," from which everything else comes. Through understanding that all matter is a manifestation of divine energy, we then come to know that the energy of our thoughts and actions influence our health. It is with this knowledge, that we can open to the divine energy that did not stop with the Word, but continues forever, and we can allow that sweet divinity to flow through us to help us heal ourselves and our environment. Treatment: Reiki treatment involves a gentle, hands-on approach where you rest comfortably on the massage table, fully clothed, and I allow the Reiki to move through me into you. It goes where it is needed most, and can change you physically, emotionally and mentally. Nothing about it is harmful and it cannot be used to manipulate or control thoughts or actions. It is a very sweet treatment that has helped countless numbers of people and can help you, too. Classes: Anyone can learn to use Reiki as this energy is available to everyone all of the time. Classes are taught in three levels and you can take as many levels as you wish. After the first level, you will be able to use Reiki to help yourself and others. Following the second level, you will be able to work on a deeper realm and also to assist others at a distance. After the third level, you will be able to teach Reiki. Classes are scheduled at your request. You will learn one level per class and after you work at that level for at least 3 months, you can take the class for the next level. It is good to let the energy work through you as well as you working with it! I also schedule classes on an appointment basis.
